November/December 2024 Impact Report

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours! We are so thankful to celebrate Christmas this year at our home in Kilgoris, Kenya. We will spend time with our church community here this week as we rest and recharge, reflecting on the perfect gift- our Savior, Jesus Christ! May His love surround you, and may your home be filled with His peace, joy, and blessings this Christmas season!

NOW, LET’S LOOK BACK ON THE LAST TWO MONTHS…

NOVEMBER

In October, we traveled to the U.S. and stayed until Thanksgiving, before beginning our journey back to Kenya. Our time there was a beautiful mix of reconnecting with friends and family, strengthening relationships with our ministry partners, and building new ones! It was truly an incredible month. During our stay, we had the privilege of visiting six churches, where we preached and shared updates on the work God is doing. The month was incredibly encouraging and fruitful. It’s always so special to reconnect with so many of you—our faithful partners—and to see how our ministries continue to strengthen and encourage one another in faith. We are truly in this together!

DECEMBER

We arrived back in Kenya on December 1st and jumped right into "Dream Week" in Kilgoris with our staff. This annual event is a time for our team to come together to strategize, dream, and pray over the year ahead. It’s also an opportunity for team building and spending quality time together. It was such a fruitful and refreshing week!

After that, we traveled to Eldoret, Kenya to continue preparations for the upcoming festival in February!

  • We had a Counselor Training in Eldoret, where over 1,000 attendees gathered! These counselors are dedicated volunteers from local churches who will gather information from new believers at the festival and connect them to their churches. The passion and hunger for discipleship in this group are inspiring, and they are eager to see a mighty harvest in their city!

  • We had an Eldoret Pastors’ Meeting, where over 300 pastors gathered to strategize in preparation for the upcoming festival. We had the privilege of teaching them effective strategies for follow-up and discipleship, equipping them to support new believers and strengthen their churches.

  • After returning from Eldoret, we’ve spent the past few weeks at home in Kilgoris. During this time of rest from travel, we’ve had the privilege of serving and investing in our local church, which is always a joy and a blessing!

  • We proudly graduated our 2024 Harvest Internship Class! These interns have been traveling and serving alongside us throughout the year, and it was a joy to see them graduate and launch into their callings. We are excited to announce that a few of them will be joining our team in the coming year, and we can’t wait to see the incredible impact they’ll make!

LOOKING AHEAD…

FRONTIER MISSIONS 2025

In January, we’re excited to launch our Frontier Missions, focused on reaching unreached and hard-to-reach people groups. Our first mission will send a small team to South Sudan, where they’ll take the journey with a truck fully equipped with everything they need (pictured above). The team will connect with a local contact in their target area and rely on the Holy Spirit’s guidance to determine the best approach for outreach. The truck has the capability of transforming into a stage with a sound system, enabling them to engage thousands of people at once. Alternatively, they may choose to focus on one-on-one evangelism, depending on the situation. The primary goal is to preach the gospel, begin discipleship, and collaborate with local pastors to plant a church in the region. Over the course of the year, we plan to carry out 9 more frontier missions, reaching nations such as Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, and areas near the border of Somalia. Jeremiah will attend one of these missions in November 2025. We cannot wait to see what God will do as we partner with His mission to reach the unreached.

PRAYER POINTS

  • Planning and preparation for 2025 flagship festivals (1 in Eldoret, Kenya and 4 in Mozambique). Unity and engagement among local pastors. Hunger among local pastors to be active in evangelism and discipleship

  • There is unrest in Mozambique which has stopped us from being able to visit the country for preparations. Pray for peace and stability in the government and people.

  • Launch of Frontier Missions - Pray for our team that is going to South Sudan in January. For God’s favor at border crossings, favor with the people they encounter, discernment for the team, safety, and for the salvation of the people they are going after!

  • Our growing festival directors’ team. We are thankful to be welcoming a couple individuals onto our team for this next year. Pray for our team as we grow and multiply. We are still praying for God to send more workers into the harvest field.

  • Our growing family- health for Olivia and the baby. Wisdom for navigating practical items that arise with the baby’s arrival in April.
