WHAT WE DO

FESTIVAL WORK

Assistant Festival Directors

Jeremiah and Olivia work together with our SOS Festival Director, Fiore Londino, to organize and execute our festivals.

In every city, we are submitted to the Bishops and Pastors of that city. We are there to serve them and see the Gospel radically transform their city. We work alongside them to see 19 festival departments run smoothly. A few departments we have are publicity, security, interpreters, prayer, transportation, BoATC, creative arts, and many more.

A big part of this role is traveling to each city 6-12 months prior to the festivals to meet with the city’s pastors. There is a process of meetings and milestones that we meet during different stages of preparation for a festival. Our role is to mobilize this process and ensure every detail is in place to make a festival happen!

BOOK OF ACTS TRAINING CAMP

BoATC DIRECTOR

Jeremiah leads the Book of Acts Training Camps- a five day training camp to raise up and equip young evangelists in every city we go to for a festival.

  • VISION

To raise up young Africans who will win the unreached by loving people, preaching the Gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons.

  • MISSION

Hold a 5-day camp that will train young Africans with biblical teachings as well as practical street outreach training.

BoATC OVERVIEW:

HEART BEHIND BoATC:

Africa's population is very young, with 60% of the population under the age of 25, making it the youngest continent in the world! By 2055, the continent’s youth population (aged 15-24), is expected to be more than double the 2015 total of 226 million. Not only is Africa a young continent, but it has a massive population of unreached people! Currently, there are 379,032,000 people who live in unreached people groups and we need people who will go to them.

Over five years ago while in Tanzania the Holy Spirit spoke to Evangelist Johannes Amritzer to bring the Gospel to the capital cities of Africa and to raise up young, urban Africans to finish The Great Commission.

BoATC Breakdown:

DAY 1&2 - ACTS DNA TEACHINGS

We developed the Acts DNA Teachings to provide young Africans the opportunity to learn how to move in signs and wonders, listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, heal the sick, and cast out demons. We want them to realize the authority they have in Jesus, develop the faith for miracles, understand the importance of love in ministry and, most importantly, we want to see them baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire.  We believe that young, urban Africans are the future missionaries who will reach the unreached people of Africa. They are the ones who will carry the fire of God all over the continent. They will go into Muslim territory, countries such as Mali, Libya, Eritrea, and Somalia. They will even go to the Arabian Peninsula and into the Middle East. More than ever, missionaries need to be dependent on the voice of the Holy Spirit, His wisdom and His power!

Teachings include:

  1. Baptism in The Holy Spirit

  2. How Jesus Healed the Sick and You Can Too

  3. Priest For Those Who Don’t Go To Church

  4. Authority Of The Believer

  5. How To Be Led By The Spirit Of God

  6. What's In You Is For The Unreached

DAY 3 - OUTREACH TRAINING DAY

Over the years SOS has been using a street outreach strategy that we believe the Holy Spirit has led us to. In Africa, we often see street preachers proclaiming the Gospel to people who are walking by and ignoring them. As a result, street evangelism has brought in a small harvest. Outreach Training Day is focused on hands-on training on how to effectively gather crowds, preach a clear Gospel, and do follow-up. This is something we have done effectively for years and felt the Holy Spirit ask us to multiply to others.

Teachings include:

  1. Creative Crowd Gathering

  2. Street Preaching

  3. Follow-up

  4. Outreach Flow

DAY 4 - OUTREACH DAY

We take the participants to the streets to put into practice all they learned the day prior at Outreach Training Day. They run outreaches by themselves with our oversight.

DAY 5 - GRADUATION DAY

We graduate and send these participants back to their churches with our Street Outreach Curriculum that has been developed over the years. They will use these materials and all they learned from the BoATC to train their team from their church on how to do effective outreaches. These teams are then the army we take to the streets during our festival weeks to do street evangelism!

———————————————————————————

The end product in every city is thousands who are equipped with power and practical teachings to take the Gospel to the streets in a creative and powerful way. We work with local churches to equip the teams with high quality outreach systems so they can continue the work! As evangelists we want to equip other evangelists for the work God has called them too.

- ACTS 1:8-

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
